Guys i am 28 years old now and about a year ago i realized and was told that my parents are not my biological parents. Snet old timers know me as a Cidagale guy but thats my adopted father's clan. My real father is Midgaan.

I got more into Quraan And found out the word Yatiim which describes adopted people in general . So iam not a special case there are many many people out there who are like me.

My adopted parents gave me all the love and caring a child or even a young adult could ask for even though as you mentioned i was living in a lie. But really no harm. Infact iam happy i am adopted it means i am not like most people.

As for being a midgaan, you know back then when i thought i was Cidagale still i had the ability to understand and even sympathise the Midgaan tribe. I couldnt fathom where the hostility they get sometimes was coming from.

But now that i finally realized I am a Midgaan, i can trully say i feel i am home. As though i met my match kinda thing.

So Khalid ali my friend i used to be Cidagale because i thought my adopted father was my real father. But now i am Midgaan. And its kinda rare to see someone experience two Qabiils in his lifetime.

Cidogale= Cido + gale= Cido (tribes) gale (attack) attackers of other Somali tribes for their camels.....
It could also mean:

Cidogale= Cido + gale = Cido (tribes) gale (join) the tribe that other individuals or tribes could join or become part of .......there is a reason why like the Ogaadens say "Aga" Cidogale says "dhaga"...........
