Erigavo the most beautiful City in somaliland

The city has been isolated for far too long and has been severely lacking in investment.

What people probably dont know is that Erigavo has the best climate in Somalia.....not too hot in summer and slightly chilly in winter.

Northern sannaag has the perfect climate for orchards, citrus, olives, stone fruits, vines etc.

I will definitely look at aquiring land east/ south of Erigavo.

What are their people like? Are there issues or land grabbing from the authorities or those in power?

I haven't heard much about that.....the area has been peaceful since the mid nineties.

Like most regions in the east....its sparesly populated.
The farms that exist are mostly one man and a donkey operation.

As far as the people go there very intermixed....not that has stopped Somalis killing each other in the past.

The elders have worked hard to keep the peace....murderers are normally handed over for execution.

I don't understand why it hasn't received much attention from the diaspora......maybe because of the lack of paved roads.

I would make Erigavo the new capital city and seat of government for Somaliland. Hargeisa can remain the financial and economic hub of dalka JSL
