being a Dulbahante, I am proud of the Daraawish movement since it was a war of libration from the yoke of foreign rule and the prodominate role my clan play in fighting the major battles against the colonisists. however, when the dust settle 1/2 all the northern somali tribes were dead or destitute, the ishaq become stronger with the direct patronage of the british and hundreds of harti end up in the south or in middle east.

personally the sayyid's army slaughtered an entire village of my clan leaving my young grandfather for death as the sole survivor

my question is was it all worth it.

are there other Dulbahante and fellow harti thorn between immense pride on one hand and regret on the other.

what do you guys think

THe mad mullah killed 2/3 of the dhulbahante yet they praise him till the day of today why becaus the sayid hated the isaaaq with passion :lol:

The Mad Mullah was a piece of shyt, creating the "Darwiish Movement" to wipe-out the Dhulbahante, Warsangeli clans who were anti-Engris.

Isxaaq prosper due to the self-proclaiming "Liberation" of Somalia from the colonial rule. When the "Darwiish" or Dhulbahante iyo Warsangeli army were crushed in 1920, the self-proclaiming "Sayiid" ran into Ogaden territory, instead of dying with the men he lead.

Sii Baakhti doesn't know what's good for him. British is using Isxaaq to wipe out Hawiye iyo Daarood by instigating between Hawiye iyo Daarood.

When Daarood is ethnically cleansed (Not Gonna Happen, Hopefully), and Hawiye is ethnically cleansed too, by Isxaaq iyo Ethiopia...do you think British iyo their loyal European cousins gonna say "Hail To Isxaaq-clan"? :lol:
