waaaaaw,, that is 1989,,when the constructon of bosaso highway was completed,
look at how tiny was bosaso at the 2nd pic.

puntland natural landscape is amazing :up: :up: :somalia:

i always though it was a dry desert, i gues i was wrong :shock:

Those pictures are all Bari, the driest of all Puntland provinces.

Near Qardho /The karkaar mountains range there is a forest

Also near Bacadweyn it is somewhat a dense forest of Acacia trees, they even have small wild life there with Cheetahs, Ostriches, Antelopes, Warthogs etc.

Lions have been spotted in the past.

If you go don't become a city hopper like me and try visiting rural areas like in these pictures. :up:

I heard North Eastern Bari near Caluula and Qandalla looks very good, but there are no pictures of it online, it looks like Socotra I heard. Very under-documented area North East Bari.
