get out man, shiidle are bantus that only went to jowhar in the 19th century, i know that coz their patriach is a guy called kaboole, they adopted that name from their owners who is a murusade guy. jowhar and the rest of that region is mudulood's and galjecel country, otherwise saying jowhar is shiidle is like saying all of lower shabelle is hawiye's! anyway, shabelle hoose has hawiye's footprints there because buulo murusade is at least 4 great villages in that region such as day maroodi, all of it is called afarta dayood!

Ofcourse Shiidle are jareer whats ur point? 19th century do u know how long ago that is, most Somali's started settling where they are today. Ogaden started settling in Wamo in the 19th century, Mareehaan in Gedo, Majeerteen in Kismaayo.

Jowhar is Shiidle man get it together for every non Shiidle in Jowhar there are four Shiidle's. Go ask ur elders who's degaan Jowhar is and they will tell u Shiidle. Unless u believe in Maxamed Dheere's xoog aan magaalada ku heeysanaa shit, Jowhar is Shiidle.

You Hawiye keep havin fun claiming tuulo's outside of Afgooye as your claim to Lower Shabelle. Midgaan have a million more rights to Galgaduud than Hawiye do in lower Shabelle. All Hawiye including Wacdaan are guests in Lower Shabelle.

Shirib,

Lets get some historical facts straight.

-12th century cartographer Muhammad al-Idrisi described Merca as the capital of Hadiye (misspelling for Hawiye).
-13th century Arab geographer who went to Somalia and described Merca as ''capital of Hawiye country'' and Shabelle river as the ''Nile of Banadir''
-15th-16th century alliance of Hawiye clans establishes hegemony between Qalafo to Hobyo on Banadir Coast to Jubba in the south, this kingdom is ruled by the Ajuuraan who have linked themselves to Hawiye.
-16th-17th century Hiiraab dethrones Ajuuraan in Hobyo, Gaaljecel-Baadicade defeat and oust Ajuuraan from Hiiraan-Middle Shabelle, Darandoole Mudulood oust and defeat Ajuraan from Mogadishu and Banadir, and defeat the Muzzafar dynasty of Mogadishu. They enter the city in 1624.
-16th-17th century Hiiraab clan establishes control over Banadir, Darandoole Abgaal in Mogadishu, Wacdaan in Afgoye, Hiirab subclan (El Amir) establishes control over Merca.

ALL these events are historical facts that were recorded between 12th to 19th century.

Unlike you and others, we base ourselves on written historical records and current status in Somalia.
----------------------

Geledi ALLIED to Wacdaan defeat and evict Hawiye subclan of Silcis from Afgooye region. Since then, Geledi and Wacdaan have lived side by side and were allied.

Murusade entered into the Geledi-Wacdaan alliance and established itself in 4 villages in between Afgooye and Mogadishu.

17th century Biyamaal migrate southwards and evict Hirab subclan (El Amir) from Merca and establish control over Merca hinterland.

17-18th century Digil subclan of Tunni establishes control over Baraawe hinterland.

Raxanweyn has NO presence in Lower Shabelle.

The Shiidle you are talking about, were imported slaves. Gaaljecel, Baadicadde, Abgaal, Mobleen, Hintire...in short Hawiye subclans defeated Ajuraan hegemony in Shabelle valley, and as such Jowhar became the deegaan of Abgaal/Moobleen and Gaaljecel in the outskirts of the city.

Ababaker,

The sequence of events is like this:

Hiiraab defeat Ajuuraan in Hobyo, and then create a Hirab administration for the city. Darandoole Mudulood went southwards and encrouched on Mogadishu city.

Mogadishu city was at that time (16th/17th century) ruled by Muzaffar dynasty who was from mixed origins (Yemeni-Somali etc). The Ajuuraan ruled the hinterland of Banadir.

When Darandoole Mudulood defeated the Muzzaffar dynasty and entered the city in 1624, they came in conflict with the Ajuuraan in the hinterland, who denied the water wells (probably wells like the ceelasha biyaha of nowdays Mogadishu) to the new rulers of the city and at this time Darandoole Mudulood declared war to Ajuuraan and killed their Imam after which the Ajuuraan clan was displaced from the whole region. Darandoole Mudulood consists of subclans like Hintire, Moobleen, Wacdaan and Abgal. They divided the booty like this: Wacdaan occupied inbetween Afgooye-Mogadishu and South of Mogadishu to Jeziraa, Moobleen went upwards on the river and established itself around Balcad, Jowhar and middle Shabelle, Abgal subclans established themselves in Mogadishu city, Upwards the river (Balcad-Warsheik-Jowhar etc). A section of Darandoole Mudulood who was small went to Merca and established its rule there untill they were defeated and evicted from Merca by Biyamaal. Historians misspelled El Amir for El Hamar, meaning that they came from Xamar, which at that time was conquered by Darandole Mudulood.

Ok, thanks for the quick lesson bro.

Shirib, the deal is there. Can you bring forth evidence to say otherwise?

Abakar20,

Your welcome.

Shirib knowes the sources I am talking about. I never denied Geledi nor any other Somali clan its history or legitimacy over lands. He shouldnt commit such error when it comes to other group's history and lands. Wacdaan has equal right to Afgoye as Geledi since they both evicted Silcis. Can you claim otherwise?

Go figure out how Wacdaan even came to Afgooye first before we get into Silcis and defeating them
