Riyaale, ever since 2002 after the death of the Egal, has repeatedly been placed back to power, because apparently Isxaaq-clan knows that once a Isxaaq "president" takes "office", there will be corruption and disloyalty. For example, If Siilaanyo, a Habar Jeclo-Adan Madoobe becomes the "president" of Somalidiidland, the Garjaxiis-clan family will know that he is upto now good of the Garaxjiis-clan family's interest, so therefore a civil war will begin, the same could be said for the other "Sii Baakhti" subclan, such as Habar Awal, Garaxjis, Ayuup, and Araab.

They're using Riyaale, and the Gudubursi-clan to basically be the mediator between the Isxaaq clan family. However, once Gudubursi, and the Riyaale era is over...can the Isxaaq clan family rule itself, misa the 90's will be back again?

The main reasons of Riyaale's Presidency:::

To keep the Isxaaq-clan unified.
To Keep any civil war breaking out between Habar Yoonis iyo Habar Jeclo.
To Keep the world thinking that "Somalidiidland" is a ethnically diversified region (WHICH IS NOT).

No Riyaale = No Somalidiidland

It's a smart political calculation though on the part of isaaqs for picking riyaale, you have to handed it to them. Somalia's problem has always been too many groups wanting to be leaders, too many chiefs and not enough indians as the old saying goes, and they seem to have found a good formula that works for them in the northwest.
