Faacul Adan Jugle oo ah nin Reer Waydh (HY), told his brother-law Cali Dhuux after he caned his she-camel and denied it the water in well which was previouly Ugadeen. He said make a poem for and recite like, "Doqonkii Ogaadeen ahaa, Doollo laga qaadye...etc
then Cali Duux stated after;
Niman baa dalkoodiyo xukuma, labadi daaroode
"Loo diid Dannood iyo hadduu" the most famous line in history of suugaanta, but this not theatre that shid really happen, all properity, land, camel, houses all taken by HY.

the Habr Gerhajis tribe--seized the camels by their heads, and demanded their customary fees, at the same time boisterously gesticulating that they would help themselves if their request was not complied with.... whilst Sumunter and the other Warsingali began thumping them with their clubs, and swearing a fearful vengeance would be wrought upon them by their tribe, who were living within an hour or two's call, should they not desist. The fact was, my men knew their power here, and, guided only by animal passions, enjoyed showing it. The poor discomfited Urus Sagà now slunk off like defeated dogs, or schoolboys returning from a fight, just wishing to know if they were only to be considered in the light of women, who could not maintain their own right

Highland wrote:It's amazing that Gerxajis brag about glory. Against Warsans, they used to shiver with fear upon demands. Here in a small settlement of HabarYonis, a quite sizable group tried to seize some camels by force and look what happened after they heard of the Warsan name..
When I see this largelly cut-off pastoral refugees brag for Ogaden and others, I really laugh at their audacity.the Habr Gerhajis tribe--seized the camels by their heads, and demanded their customary fees, at the same time boisterously gesticulating that they would help themselves if their request was not complied with.... whilst Sumunter and the other Warsingali began thumping them with their clubs, and swearing a fearful vengeance would be wrought upon them by their tribe, who were living within an hour or two's call, should they not desist. But upon hearing the Warsan name and the consequences of their actions, they fled like dogs while complaining about how their rights were trampled on or how they were treated like women.
Adeer, this is a history that can't be denied or rewritten. We owned them.

Adeer, the secret agreement between Aideed and Egal was to coordinate a synergy of attacks and exact the biggest revenge on their former oppressors and then meet their forces at Garoowe. That doesn't happen and so easily the SNM were defeated battle after battle until the last one in Xiingalool and Damallaxagre.
No Daarood clan has ever sent me reinforcement and we had never asked for it. That is not our nature and It's well known history. Btw, Major Gen. Green and Ducaale had already taught them lessons.
I getta leave it there.
