I have some questions.

1)Who was Al Shabaab created by.
2)Who/What funds Al Shabab.
3) What's up with the pakistani garb and face mask.
(being a 'mujaahid ' is something to be proud of ,no?).
4)What is the link between Al Shabab and Hisbul Islam.
5) How do you people justify bombings?
6) What is Alshabaab's vision for Somalia?

If you can't answer these questions in a civil manner pls have the decency to steer clear.

1,al shabaab was part of Islamic courts union..
2. probably Somali wadaad bussines men
3.this is a muslim dress many Somalis use to wear it before al-shabaab..the face mask is just part of the unifom..
4.the are the same..even dahir aweys said they will become one group with under one name soon
5.bombing who and what?
6.they want it to be ruled under shariica

Gemini this group was set up by the somaliland secret service in order to destabilize the south so that the international community can see somali is a lost course and giving somaliland its international recognition is the only option.. :mrgreen:

I can understand what Al shabaab can offer to South Somalia ,i definately supported the takeover of Kismaayo and other regions that were ruled by warlords .

But what has Alshabab got to offer Puntland ?
We have peace,armed forces,basic public services ,welfare for the poor etc.

Why are the spouses and children of the leaders of Al Shabab not in Somalia ?

Their children are tucked away safely whilst other children in Somalia get killed/wounded /starve because of the 'Jihaad' .
