I used to ask myself the same thing. And especially in the last 2 to 3 months since the area showed up on the satellite maps.

Funny thing is that its marked on the Ethiopian side of the border.

I really don't know any Puntland city the Government built other than the few Adminstration Builtings the Government has in the Captial Garowe.

All the Telephone Line Stuff throughtout Puntland is by Business man and even Water Systems. The only thing the Government does is keep the peace and provide law and order. But Puntland itself has been built by the locals. Goldogob is no different than the rest.

It's okay they will come around. I remember days when The Puntland Government led by A/Y didn't take taxes from Bosaso iyo Burtinle iyo the majority of Puntland lands.
