Cawrmale are not Warsangali or Darood. Them and Rhiigaaye are the same family, both are non-Darood.

My family has lived among Cawrmale in Jubba regions for more than 100 years and never have they been considered Darood. My family has seen Ogaden, Dulbahante, Marehan, Awrtable, and many other Darood coming through the region but has never considered Cawrmale to be Darood. Just look at the civil war, not 1 single Cawrmale fought with Darood.

Ask anyone from the area, they are just called Cawrmale while Harti have a different title altogether in Jubboyinka. I know where they live and they are just called Cawrmale, some claim Hawiye but none claim Darood let alone Warsangali. How come Cawrmale don't live in Sanaag if anything? Every time we hear Cawrmale we talk about Kismayo.

You have been misinformed bro.

Brother, Cawramale like Cawlyahan are large clans in the region and most are content with their sub-clans' local names. Case in point is the British rule of JubaLand, they referred to Cawlyahan by their name. Sometimes, in their writings, they refer to Aulihan and Ogaden as though they were entirely seperate clans. Why Aulihan did not prefer to be referred as Ogaden? The main reason is that they were too large to be independent.
