This was the dream of our fathers. The project has failed because we did not give the respect deserved by one of the states that joined Somalia aka somaliland. Did you know as soon as they joined us We took the President and Prime minister from Somalia? when the union agreement was one stae take president the other takes prime minster. We cheated them in 1960, then we tried to exterminate them in the 80ies. Did you know Ogadeen, abaskuul, bartire were given Idoor lands and MJ were given Berbera? Isaaq were not allowed to own any land, they were killed and put in mass graves, Their woman were abused and violated, there cars and property all taken and shared between the people of somalia.
When they got their independence back did they seek revenge? did they kill all the samaroon and Harti who abused them? did they take land that belonged to other people? NO
They just want the state with which they entered into the union, isn't that fair?
If we are sincere in our effort to have somaliweyn then we need to understand why they want independence of the state they entered the union with. For somaliweyn to be born again.
- We need to create trust and confidence between the people again.
- We need to show every somali that we have changed out attitude.
- We need all somalis to want to create somaliweyn out of freewill.
I believe to achieve
and have all 5 somalis part of somaliweyn we need to be selfless just once in our lifes and promote the rightfull dissolution of the 1960 errors. Then with sincerity we need to build the relations between the 5 somalis.
You argue they should leave with their Triangle, If they do that traingle will cut somaliweyn apart in the middle and we have to forget about djbouti and awdal aswell. I believe we can win their hearts back with kindness by ignoring the few who have bad mouths. I believe Harti staying in somaliland is the best way to have someone to reason with them once they have independence and bring them back to peacefull negotiations.
Even if we manage to make them release SSC-east we have permanently lost everything west of SSC-West. This policy is actually dividing somalis forever and there will never be any reason for dialogue ever again with anything west of SSC. I don't really see that as a genuine victory because the hate will never stop and we will be divided forever.
I hope you understand even a small fracton of what i said. We need to buld better relations between all the 5 somalis that begain the dream of
somaliweyn. To cruise from NFD to Djbouti, back through Borama, hargiesa, cayn, gaalkaciyo and relax in beach of barawe my god that is worth any temperary sacrifice.
You base all you beliefs on internet badmouths, do you know how many businesses in hargiesa are owned by MJ, MR and OG? Do you know Dhulbahante used to have degaans in Gabiley and boorama.
I think you are short changing yourselves if you ask me and in the process believe you are uniting somalis when infact you are dividing them permanently.
Why settle for East-SSC When you can have a Harti President in hargeisa, why limit yourself and cut of your economic future when you control all trade between puntland and somaliland.
