Habar Gidir has Baraxley "Galmudug" and Cadaado "Ximan iyo Xeeb," and out side of these two towns the Islamists (either ahlu sunna or the shabab) are the real authority. As for the donkey, well what can I say other then that god blessed them with the capital where they have permanent status and as of late the TFG which was pioneered by President Yusuf. But whereas they at least are independent to further pursue their own selfish interest in their limited areas, the Marehan interest even in Cabduwaaq comes second to that of ahlu sunna and in Gedo, the shabab.
So you see as Murax alludes to, in hopes to improve their plight the only role Habar Gidir or Marehan have to play is being a political condom and since this is a 4.5 divided government I'd be corrent in saying, other then those that their willing to be a condom for in hopes to further their own selfish interest the rest of us Somalis have a lot to lose.From a Marexaan perspective everybody and anybody who will work with us to get rid of Al Shaydaan in our regions we're cool with, so the TFG is a partner in that. No Somali clan can fight Shabab single handidly but if the TFG make a push from Xamar, it makes our push into Jubbaland and the establishment of a State there that much easier.
p.s. As a Majerten it seems I'm the only one willing to say I've ditched Somalia for Puntland simply because this nationalist card everyone seems to be portraying is fake; the Hawiye ditched the nationalist card for Hawiyenimo when they castigated President Yusuf along clan lines.
And Farmajo it seems took it further and ditched the rest of the Darood he represented in the 4.5 government because as Murax says, the Marehan were willing to do just that in appeasing anyone willing to help them further their own selfish interest.
