it was funded by USA actually, and Siyad Barre 'CHOSE' to built those coastal towns. I wish he chosen Seylac instead of Berbera. These iidoors are ungrateful.

Firstly anything below Mudug is in war due to foreigners and terrorist. Secondaly these stuff u guys cherish was built and chosen by siyad barre. Thirdly afcourse u can accuse us of being 'dowlad ku nool' cause infact we WERE the government! Doqon baa tahay. P.S just cause i mentioned siyad barre doesn't mean i'm livin the past, i'm talking about HISTORY! U just don't want to hear the truth.

Leave it to Somalis to write history. The high way between Gaalkacyo and Bosaso and the Bosaso port was built by the Italians as a compensation for the damage they inflicted during colonial time. Siyaad didn´t chose it but the former colonials had to develop the regions they destroyed. The Italians bombarded Bari and Mudug when they were fighting Cumar Samatar and Xirsi Boqor

The UN forced the Italians to compensate the damage the caused during their stay in the regions known as ´majeerteenia´

Boosaso a warsangali and majerteen enterprise city. I'm proud of Siad Barre to choose Bosaso as a location to build a port there. Imagine if he didn't, these sucess wouldn't be happening, it would had been like any ordinary coastal city like Hobyo, Las Qorey, Maydh, Garcad etc. Lets all thank Siad Barre. ;)
No lets thank farmaajo and barre hiiraale and everyone from the gedo section of Snet ;)
eh...NO give credit to where its due: AUN Jaale Maxamed Siyaad Barre. If i was him, i would had chosen Las Qoray to build a port there or Hobyo seeing that he chosen Berbera also. ;)
I already made you ashamed of being Ina Nuur that doesn´t mean you have to inject your self hatred into this section. Barre is dead AUN and he didn´t do jack shit for us. Xamar was handed on a silver platter to you and look at your condition today? We're not on the same league, i am capable of rejecting an entire government for the simple reason of not being either an PM or President, do you have that might?

As for Italy using their Air force against our regions:
At the end of 1925 an air presence was felt needed in Somalia for the operations to occupy Oltre Giuba ( Nogal and the Sultanates of Obbia and Migiurtini –Mijjarten in the English spelling of the time - ), but only in September 1926 36a Squadriglia ( Fiat R.2 ) was sent to Mogadiscio.

If you pacify the majeerteens, you have the entire Somalis at your feet ;)

^  where in this thread do i show hatred? Its u that has hatred that follows me everywhere, and the only thing u keep doin is insultin my clan beesha Ina Nuur. I wonder why u obessed with my clan. Now back to the topic...its true Bosaso is enjoying the intiative of siad barre, how come other coastal deegans in puntland are less developed, a small tuulo in war ridden Gedo is more developed than those coastal deegans in Puntland. Garowe and Galkacyo are developed from money of the UN and not some sort of special talent of ur people. Mandera is even dependent on (Beled Xaawo) a war ridden town in Gedo. So do not think highly of urself if allah has given ur deegaan peace. Just thank allah for it.

how come the 'hard working people' don't make Garcad or Xaafun, Maydh, Las Qorey like Bosaso.
Because the people in those areas aren't hard working to begin with - not everyone is hard working, that's why Garowe and Cabudwaaq were both villages 20 years ago but Garowe is a city today and Cabudwaaq is still a village. Infrastructure doesn't mean anything, Berbera has more infrastructure than Bosaso but Bosaso is more successful, Eastleigh has almost no infrastructure but is the highest-earning neighborhood in Nairobi outside the central business district. Even in the diaspora, some clans are more organized and have more businesses than others everywhere you go and yet all Somalis have equal opportunities in diaspora. Somalia only had a government for 30 years out of its entire history and 30 years doesn't mean shit. MJs always had seafaring trade with Oman, Hadramut, Bombay and faraway places. The truth is that some clans mastered organization and networking long ago while others have not - that's the only difference. Take MJs to Gedo today and they will accomplish more with all the agriculture than any Marexaan ever could dream of. If MJs went to Belet Xawo today it would be the Gaalkacyo of SW Somalia and NFD.

Aren't Garcad, Eyl and Xaafun both a MJ coastal village? Atleast Bosaso is a diverse town where Warsangali, Dishishe and Majerteen live side by side. Truth to be told thank Siad Barre for choosing Bosaso to build a port there.

Diversity doesn't mean anything, you need institutions and security for people to do business and MJs provide all the political organization to make everything run smoothly. SSDF filled the power vacuum after the regime collapsed, then Al-Itixaad took over and managed everything, then SSDF took over power again and there was still insecurity all over the region until the MJ business community pressured SSDF to start a state, so they brought all the clans together and declared Puntland. Now every clan can travel to Bosaso and there's no isbaaro. You can't develop Garacad or other villages because Bosaso port is already there and better and those towns should stay small.

Actually every villages have to be developed, why not take advantage of siad barre intiative AKA Bosaso port and develop different villages. I mean look at Somaliland, they are using siad barre intiative AKA Berbera port to develop other places. No wonder ur fellow harti brothers Siwaqaroon :? want to establish ras caseyr state in Caluula?
