I love the people of Puntland, what I mean by " shit" was that Puntland like Somaliland can not offer free education or health care to its people, because of the lack of a central government in Mogadishu. I've formed a new political party its called Puntland separatist democratic party, if I someday win the elections in puntland and become the leader of Puntland I will declare independence from the rest of Somalia, and form a new country i havent found a name for it yet but it could be called boqortooyad geeska africa or we might just stick to call it puntland i'll let that be up to the people what they choose,

If you become the Puntland president make me the Vice president of the state. Imagine how good it would make Puntland look if we had a woman vice president.

On a serious note, Most Puntlanders back home and diaspora doesn't support the idea of sucessionism. We single handedly already rule Somalia and we have so much political/non-political dominance over Somalis which is why they hate us so much. Why give that up? also, the chaos, mayhem and the political unrest in the south hasn't really effected us much. Before the civil war, Most Puntlanders invested their wealth in Mogadishu and completely neglected their tribal territories. Since then, we had a huge wake up call and now we understand how important it is to rely on ourself and give up the idea of someday returning to southern Somalia. We can get our share of the international donated money meant for Somalia, keep what ever we make in Puntland through taxation and bussiness and when oil money start to pour into the state, we will be ahead of them million miles. I don't think succeding is in our best interest.

We should focus on the important issue here, which is federalism. Puntland should be recognized as autonomous state whithin Somalia by TFG, and we should push the idea on the up comming Somali conciliation conference whereever it may be held.

I myself understood the full benefits of Federalism. Central government where all of the power is centered around on one leader should be rejected at all cost, and safeguards should be placed in the new federal constitution ,and also in the PL constitution, where if the federal government does not follow the constitution, we have other recourse in both Federal and PL charter.

You cannot have a semi autonomous state and at the same time Want federalism do you also want Bay and bakool to be a semi autonomous state and galmudug why not let the whole country states be a semi autonomous states
