Horta has Bosaso every had a mayor that wasn't Cisman Max'd.

Sounds fair but I thought Warsangeli were equally represented in Bosaso.

This is a random question but what Leelkase subclans live in eastern Bari? I found out recently that my great grandfathers mother was LLK... but I never asked what subclan. The reason why i specifically said eastern Bari is because that's where my family and juffo are from.

Dude, Cusman Maxamud have not been mayor of Bosaso since the time of Boqor Cusman.

The last few mayors I know of are Cali Salebaan and Cabdirixiin Salebaan over the last few years. The only non-MJ clan heavily politically and socially represented in Bosaso are Dishiishe but I don't think MJs would let them rule Bosaso. Cusman Maxamud control the security and politics of the region, they had to negotiate to let go of Bosaso control - they can't rule Qardho and Bosaso, the two biggest cities in Bari. But as of late, Faroole is putting all of Bari in the hands of Cali Salebaan so they can flex their muscle a bit and control the smaller clans while the oil project goes under way; Cusman Maxamud screwed things up badly over the past few years and lost their privileges.

I could have sworn that this current one is Dashiishle, I know that they have been the mayor previously, few years back the Mayor of Bossaso was shot and killed and he was Dashiishle.

There have definitely been Osman Mohamud mayors of Bosaso, I remember when Abdullahi Yusuf made peace with Golaha Badbaadinta Puntland lead by Cadde, one of the Colonels of GBP became mayor of Bosaso as part of the deal. Forgot his name. There were also others.
