Now I don't really care for your tribal bickering, nor your personal grudges for one another. However, I will explain to you guys that if you are trying to have an academic debate follow a certain logic. I fail to see how the presentation of that document as a source is debunked without evidence from any other source. If you are willing to go as far as saying the author made a mistake, proof it with evidence. You guys are not challenging voltage you are challenging the author of the document and his sources, thus you would need historical sources of your own that would showcase why and how that author was wrong.
You also made the argument that the author mentioned the Marehan Sultanate at the location of the Majeertaan sultanate, you would need evidence or sources that place a Majeertaan sultanate in that area and thus raise a valid argument on the validity of Gabriel's statements.
Also, I was wondering have you read Gabriel's book/document? When he was explaining the Somali tribes locality was it in a present tense or a past tense? I am asking because you of the time line you choose which, as far as I know, is based on the lifetime of Gabriel and not on textual evidence.
