Puntlanders I have a question!

What is your relationship with the hadhramaut region of Yemen? Is there any historical link there? Are there MJ hadhrami people?

The reason why I ask is that I have seen Hadhramis who claim to originate from Puntland and vice versa.

you have mistaken here , our sultan win in his war by his man after that he sent hawiya guy to outside the sultana as punishment for his act , then the hawiya asked the help from the yemans and they accept , then second fight occur and we lost it from that accident hobyo sultanate establish .

actually socotra is an island of the bari coast while hadramut is mainland yemen

Actually Pwani is correct, today Socotra is part of the hadhramaut governorate of yemen. It is administered as if it is part of Hadhramaut.

You are right damu socotra is not IN hadramut but thats not what i meant, i was refering to which governorate (or whateva they call it yemen) it falls under... Im well aware of where socotra is located
