For you and any person with low paragraph comprehension skills:
Horn Petroleum Corporation ("Horn Petroleum" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:HRN) is pleased to update the market on the drilling operations on the Shabeel well in Puntland, Somalia.
The Shabeel well is currently at a depth of 2703 meters and had just completed the setting of the 9 5/8" casing. The well drilled through primarily tight limestones and shales of Lower Tertiary to Upper Cretaceous age and encountered a 355 meter section of Upper Cretaceous sands and shales of the Tisje / Jesomma Formations at a depth of approximately 1660 meters.
The forward plan on the well will be to drill ahead to the originally planned depth of 3800 meters to evaluate the primary and secondary reservoir targets in the Lower Cretaceous and Jurassic intervals equivalent to the main productive section seen in the analogous fields in Yemen.

thanks, there is still hope then !
thanks for the update.
if at depth 3800m oil is not found, will they abandon the well and drill another one, or will the drilling continue to even lower depths. even deeper ?

I don't have too much knowledge in the field of geology but the elevation of Dhahoor is quite high, possibly meaning they need to drill more to get to the oil, they already found oil and Gas on the Somali peninsular near Shilaabo and there has also been discovered oil near Doollow in the Filtu region of Kiilka Shanaad. Both Shilaabo and Filtu are at lower elevation than Bari, and oil was found at depth of around 3000 meters, so there is still hope if I think, But what do I know about geology right.

yaa rabi look at ilkayares showing their envy while seeming intelligent , whats has the oil drilling have to do with your ilk , instead of focusing the oil in PL you should focus on bantus exploring for oil in what used to be somali territorial water know fully, had it not been for MSB flushing the country down the gutter. See how carma works.

as for the idoor boy I see our last encounter hasnt dis-couraged you from coming to this section with your caac?

talking about somalinimo what does a traitorous idoor know about somalinimo
