Where in Bosaso are they located? I want to purchase about 4 homes in Bosaso. Live in one and rent out the other three. But, I want the best area to invest in. How much do homes go for? More money = Better quality.
those villas were built in land and were much cheaper than villas down town
Plots of land is hard to come by and since the town is surrounded by mountains and the ocean the natives are holding on their plots of land making prices go way up making houses in bosaso very expensive but as anywhere else in Somalia money talks

I'm actually planning to go to bosaso next summer inshallah , and I was hoping to get quotes on land near the beaches....Around 1000 Acres.
THE BEACHES HAVE BEEN OCCUPIED BY MAKESHIFT IDP CAMPS FOR YEARS
PLUS THE CITY HAS BECOME OVERCROWDED.
YES! That's exactly where I want to be. Right next to the beaches. Having a beach-front house in Bosaso will be the best investment. How big is a 1000 acres?

tightrope,

Why are the IDPs settled near the beaches? To contaminate it or what?

Yeah, I'm not interested in going inland. I want a beach-front properties that would interest anyone, Somali or Foreign-Vistor. The weather in Bosaso suits perfectly for living next to the ocean. Obviously, building a home from scratch will be expensive. You first need to buy the plot of land then get in negotiations with the Construction companies and so forth. I want something that is ready to move in.

What about Restaurants? Do they go up for sell in Downtown area?

That's beautiful! I just thought Bosaso would turnout to be the next Dubai and for that reason, investing in it would make sense. How much do plot of lands go for Eyl? Do the natives welcome people building beach-front homes?

Bosaso is getting overcrowded and expensive Eyl will be a much cheaper and better place to invest and plots of land are easier to come by
People have started building houses outside Bosaso mainly on the outskirts of the city in places like Karin & Laag as all the beachfront is overcrowded!

The oasis of Laag is very beautiful
