The parliament of Puntland passed a law that allows Puntland people to form their own political parts and their rights,responsibilities and conditions were also defined by the law, Puntlandi reports.
The new law allows Puntland people to structure their political parts in Puntland and with the condition of having 500 supporters in every region.
Puntland parliament speaker has announced the result of the voting. 37 members of Parliament agreed that every political party should have 500 supporters from every region no matter the size and the population of the region.
The parliament had a fierce debate this issue. Some of parliamentarians proposed Part members should be made 300 people in every region, while some others presented the regions to be categorized in terms of their population.

In the capital cities of every region , parts would be having 300 supporters, smaller districts 200 supporter, and the cumulative supporters that every political party should have is 500 .
As the new rule indicates, Puntland citizens have a full right to form their political parts if they fulfill the conditions, and at last, 3 main political parts would be formed in Puntland.
The new and awaiting decision from Puntland Parliament, paves the way for a democratization in Puntland since its establishment.
