I guess it depends on your definition of crumble. If shooting young protestors in Qardho, al shabaab having the nerve to attack right outside of Bosasso, Mudug ignoring farole and continuing with the elections, nabadoons being killed, the Federal Government (for the first time) not having a President or PM from Puntland and actually bringing forward Somalidiid politicians, Turkish aid workers being attacked in Mudug, farole requiring foreign helicopters and many troops to protect him in Bari....and so on
If that isn't crumbling than I don't know what is. In the past Puntland elders and Puntland government worked together for a common goal. However, under farole the elders and many regions are disconnected from farole. The proof is how our elders still visited both Mogadishu and Turkey despite Farole's objection.
This is why the Federal Government has ignored Puntland for the first time. They can see farole doesn't even have his own house in order.
Puntland was never perfect, but we were always united among ourselves prior to farole. In our history has a Puntland president travelled less then him or received more protests from his own people???? Has any government ever had so many government officials killed by fellow Puntlanders?
Like I said he can claim to be President all he wants; just like others will. The only time problems will arise is if he tries to arrest people or use his authority on the wrong region.
