A new district called Towfiiq is being announced by Abdirahman Faroole now that the Mudug inhabitants have officially chosen to be part of Puntland. It has to pass the local parliament, but that's all settled. Why did they choose Puntland over Galmudug. Their lands are squeezed around the small Golol Valley.

No, farole stole my beloved state of Puntland. Puntland use to be a major player in Somalia's politics. There was no Somalia without Puntland. Past Puntland leaders were able to ensure that the Federal Government would always include our interests in their decisions and give us executive level government positions.
