From Faroole to Abdiweli Gaas? Waa kud kaguur oo qanjo u guur. Unfortunately, neither of these clowns will benefit the poor people of Puntland. We have seen the handy work of Faroole and is as plain as day for all to see from his tenure as president from the last five years. As for Gaas, I have on good authority, from close associates of his when held the office of prime minister in the federal government, he is not a man of character. And to make the matters worse, the man basically sees and does nothing without having his qabiil goggles on. So, if Puntlanders have ultimately to choose between these two only, and there is good chance of this happening, then god have mercy on them.

It really seems that people do believe anything that they here. My fam said this that....wow.

Faroole is welcome to stay ! Don't really mind just as long as he keeps the predators at bay and develops the region. Thats until someone else strong steps up.

Welcome to stay? Keeps predators at bay? Please!

Even if you add up the 10 plus years that both AY and Cade had the leadership of Puntland, the number of prominent people killed during faroles time in office significantly towers over both of them combined. We are not even talking about outside sources being responsible for the killings, I am talking about fellow Puntland tribes fighting one another. AY and Cade had to deal with far worse conditions (i.e. war with Islamic courts, somaliidiid).

Puntland use to be a place where government officials could walk around without armed guards. Now every business man, religious leader and high profile person needs security.

Of course you don't mind farole staying longer because you don't need to live in the hell that he created.
