West Mudug, to be more precise, Dar Es Salaam Town near Galdogob, will be home to a Free Trade Zone between DDSI and Puntland, this was agreed with President Abdi Illey last year. Since Marehan neighbour Leelkasse and Majeerteen nomads in the DDSI and Mudug area it makes sense to integrate into ONE unit. When the Wadaagsin road is completed, the $$$$ will really start to roll in.

My greatest hope is that a road linking Cabudwaaq and Galkacyo is built. For some weird reason, the main road does not go through Cabudwaaq.
A road would instantly increase economic integration which always leads to political integration

Saaxo is for rer Wardheere of Wagardhac, a branch of northern Marehan notorious for hatred of Habar Gidir and the most pro-MJ group in northern Marehan.

I am torn on the issue.

On one hand I welcome positive working relationship between the Darods as a cohesive political unit. All these signs since Abdiwali Gaas points to substantial and real reconciliation being pursued by both sides.

On the other hand I want the central Darods including Cumar Maxmuud, Layl Kase, and Marehan to join central Somali state spreading their power. After all why be satisfied with two states of density when you can have two states and large shares in other states effectively making it "co-owned?"
