well its my opinion. I don't consider puntlanders unionists at all , I see them as fellow under cover separatists with the same ambition. I am just informing those who knows nothing about you and that can contribute our own security issues. When I look at PL, SL, independence and union----I have my own analogy. I look at them as the case of Eritrea, Tigray and the Ethiopian state. SL is the yet to be recognized Eritrea. PL is the Tigray that plays the union card just for the honey.

There are check and balance mechanism in all societies and should SL succeed in its statehood, there is not much PL can have in common with Mogadishu and will seek independence too.

The only question that remains is will SL bury PL secession like Eritrea buried Tigrais Abay Tigray Republic (1976 manifesto manifesto)? Or would they aid PL to cede for good?

I personally think the first case is the likely scenario and PL will be caught between two hard rocks like Tigray.

If things continue the way they are in Mogadishu, many PLanders will not see the point of being part of AMISOM.
