Hard to compete with Sahal, but competition is always welcome. People need lower prices

50 thousand already subscribed their services according to their puntland branch manager. that's good start. the Edahab have many advantages over sahal, it has its own dahabshiil bank,Hawaala and mobile services. plus Somtel is already expanding all the way to Mogadishu. Most Somali business movement is in the triangle Hargeisa/Djibouti bosaso/burco xamar.

This whole Zaad, Sahal, e-Dahab is based on Mpesa from Kenya. It is a very simple system to implement as a service provider. Somtel does not have much coverage outside of Bosaso district. Golis on the other hand has coverage almost everywhere, meaning you can buy, sell, receive and deposit using Sahal all over Puntland. Add to that the fact that Dahabshiil is not one of the main money-wire companies in Puntland.
Hard market to get a foot into.
