It's a King, he doesn't need a democratic election dude. We are the Royal Family of Daarood, descending from Maxamed Daarood.

Nobody chooses his nickname, besides we're MJ, we only give embarrassing nicknames, otherwise what's the point..

Lol @ Suldaanka Majeerteen calling himself Boqor Daarood. This guy was coronated last year and even Harti did not come. Heck even Marehan and Ogaadeen came all the way to Laas Caanood to coronate Garaadka

Go to your next elder and asked him did a Darood boqor exist and was Marehan it and I guarantee he will tell you. The last Darood boqor that had power over all Darood was Boqor Maxamed Da'uud great ancestor of Diini and many Mareexaan clans and was killed by Hawlraarsame man in collusion with Majeerteen. Which is 1.) Hawlraarsame was treated like an outcast for a long time and 2.) the Darood boqortooyo ended with him.
We call him Majeerteen Sultan because the first time MJ and the word Boqor entered the lexicon was 1930,
