it is riveting to see young people enjoying themselves in a city that's the center of chaos, lawlessness and awash with guns.
their enjoyment gave me something to smile about. usually, only ominous news comes from Mogadishu.

i really admire their perseverance. i hope peace and stability returns to Somalia soon, insha Allah.

Xamar is so big that they dont know what is going on the other side of the city..i still remember bk in xamar ma families in qorbaha used to call us and say are u guys okey we heard there was a war going on and so and so..and we were like What we never heard of that thing and we are all okey...i almost killed one time trying to cross bakaaro intersection where the was a fight btwn Abdi qasim gov and some mooryan ..i was trying to reach Buulo xuubey where i had a football game..infact i reached there and played the game and cross the same spot @ maghrib :lol:

Its a nice sport.I actually used to play handball when I was younger, the club I played for and some of my team mates subsequently became swedish champions. :lol: :up:
