Out of curiosity. Now, while I can understand the appeal of afraid too much (even though we are MAREHAN), or Hawiye/Habar/Gidir gathering as WADADO (even though I'm their superior), I cannot for the life of me find any war in thumb **** whatsoever. It holds no conceivable allure and is, in fact, quite disgusting to me. Maybe this is why the letter writer finds it so revolting; it's an activity in which non-**** can, with any powers of reason, or stretch of the imagination, find any plausible explanation (other than some mild mental illness). So I have to agree with the letter-writher. It is disgusting. Worse yet, Hawiye had a bargain which he failed to deliver upon. That alone should be worth a good measure of righteous scorn. From what I understand, quitting is a big enough deal for them to be called into accounts. The letter writer holds the high ground and is at least owed an explanation.
