No name of the town was given as a name to the state because its short simple and has history.


Sahal, not sure if Mareeg has a port its a costal town but not sure about a port, but i know ceeldheer has one

no ceeldheer is away from the sea by 18km, mareeg had been the port from the time of the ajuuraan and its people were baadicadde but then mudulood from harardheere had taken over them and then they futher migrated to middle shabeele and banaadir from mareeg. the original southreners are gugundhabe, xawaadle, ajuuraan and mobileen.
