Caabudwaaq is technically considered in the same geography as the Hawd. It is not really Galgaduud. It is not even an old town like Dhusamareb.

Originally it was the daaq (grazing lands) for the Marehan in Dhusamareb and Ximan. But as more Marehan migrated to south/Gedo and more left for Mogadishu under Siyaad, the Marehan left retreated to the West and away from Hawiye heartland for security reasons.

It is important to note Caabudwaaq isn't a city state; there are a lot of other Marehan towns like Balanbale, Dhabat, etc.

It is just that Caabudwaaq in such a short time overpowered every other town between Beled-Wayneand Gaalkacyo and is still rising.

Older/qadiim Dhusamareb which is where rer Caabudwaaq were originally central to can't even come close to or compares to newer Caabudwaaq which was second-option for Marehan mudug.

we love our fellow Darood brothers and hold no animosity towards them. Its all love wherever we are. We wish them well in their adventures, but as far as sharing LOOOOL, we all recently seen that we cant agree with the power sharing. And although it wasn't a secret before, we seen how and what the reaction of our fellow siblings would be if we lets say had a disagreement with another sibling, marka to each his own and may we all prosper and be victorious :eat: :eat:
