I like jawar, he has contributed a lot to the oromo struggle. The creation of the first official oromia media is mostly due to his leadership.

He's hated by every tplf in Ethiopia, because of the influence and contributions he's provided to the oromo.
He's probably the most popular oromo nationalist now too, at least in the diaspora.

Lol one correction, the maccaa are about 12 million strong, they don't just live near Sudan, they live in jimma, ambo, nekemte, even in shoa in large numbers both Muslim and Christian maccaa.
But my parents grew up in guji territory because of marriage ties.
