This reservoir is around 80 years old it was built by the English during their rule. Since it's completion it is being look after by the same the family.

Las Anod is properly the only city in Somalia that has it's own water catchment.

Sorry Hargeise keep drinking borewater(ceelka geed deble).Burco has water problem, Xamar drinks from Ceelasha biyaha Afgooye.

So this is why they are always fighting in the regions North of Beled Weyne? There are no rivers, no running water, they only rely on rain water and reservoirs

Fale,

Those photos were taken right after a rain. That water will be clear once the silt settles.

We werent it it for gain. We supported the Siyad government because it was very good in the early part. And the later years even though it wasnt so good we were not about to side with the enemies of the Government whose opposition was animated by Animus towards Daarood.

When we heard Daaroodka dooni mayno dooradiisa

We said Erya Isaaqa Ingiriis u Asoolay ( Isaaq horny for English )
