Buraanbur is not southern, it started off as another form of Somali poetry by Majeerteen women, which is why it's exclusively performed by Somali women only.

yea, Buraanbur is a mj dance. Even the the reer bari buraanbur is diferrent form the reer mudug one. reer mudug's buraanbur is more about qabiil, and the Bari's buraabuur is more about duuco. Personally, I prefer the buraanbur of bari, reer mudugz are crazyyyyyyyyyy. Laughing
