J/Hoose Soccer Legends

Postby guhad122 » Mon Jun 11, 2007 2:54 pm

What do you remember about the great J/Hoose soccer legends. Even though I grew up in Muqdisho, but I always rooted for my J/Hoose team. What do you remember these legends who won the precious and famous Koobkii Ciyaarihii Gobolada over 10 times.

Remember how other regions used to say that J/hoose waa sixiroolayaal? It just shows that they never had answer for J/hoose. The great players I remember include:
Siciid Galti
Khaliif Riiko
Maxamuud Yare
Jaahuur--became the national soccer team goalie later on
C/laahi Xaaji
Faruureey
My Allah bless them where ever they are. They were legends Walaahay!
Let us seperate our clan ballshit from these legends.

Awees;
I remember Katuunga... Laughing Laughing Laughing
One of the best defensive players J/Hoose ever produced. Maxamed Muuse was indeed legend! Even though I was a kid, but I remember all those games. I remember the day Khaliif Riiko peformed this hat trick on German defender! I remember when Siciid Galti scored the winning goal against Banaadir in the championship match. Amazing Walaahay. Good golden days for Somalia.
Remember Kismaayo used to have six local teams:
Bada
Dekedaha
Dowlada Hoose
Who were the other three teams? Was there a Kismaayo Horseed for Xooga Dalka?

Cantar used to play for Waxool
I met Shaash in person too. He is a great Somali. He was here in the States few years ago.
And speaking of Horseed, they used to have this defensive back by the name of Siciid Cayroow, no relation to Aadan Cayroow... Laughing Laughing Laughing

You must have skipped my first reply in this thread or you arithmetic skills are terrible. I was born in 1984 son, so that makes me 23 years old.
