Check that map out and ask yourself -- was it possible for one of the smallest sub-sub clans of Majerteen [a mediocre-sized clan on its own] to have as much land as much larger clans, and through war and time -- to maintain that land?

^ not 3 sub-clans in all Majerteen, the map recorded the 3 most authoritative sub-clans of Majerteen. Look deeper, and you'll find the smaller MJ clans living in the North with Cismaan Maxamud.
