Who heard this From Siyad Barre(AUN)

Postby MJ-Pride » Mon Jul 30, 2007 2:49 pm

Apparently, a lot of Ilkoyares are denying what their great Awowe once said in Kismaayo. I'd like Somalinet users to tell me if they heard this Speech by Siyad Barre in 1991 in Kismaayo:

'Waligay Ma islahayn Hawiye baa Moqdisho kaa saaraya, Waligayna ma islahayn Marexan baa kaa cararaya, Waligayna ma islahayn Majeerteen baa ku badbaadin' Labo iga Ogaada' Caydiid waa nin Wadani ah oo dadlka Somalia u fiican, A/Yusufna waa nin Dalka u fiicnayn'

Interesting.

Siad Barre (AUN) should have had both Ogadens and Marehan's in Xamar, since Hawiye overpowered the Daroods. If he did that, Somalia today would be Somalia of yesterday that was his biggest mistake.

Emperior,
Siyad Barre Opressed us, burned our Towns, Sent Isaaq SNM su inoo xasuuqo. Despite all these, When USC were about to come and fck him in his Boqortooyo, we came and rescued the old fcker. Thats why he gave this speech. He couldnt believe how MJs rescued him after what he did to them..

Also, what are you talking about has nothing to do witht he topic. You have problem with the TFG open new thread....

The biggest other mistake was sending the whole Somali National Army to Isaaqs. The USC took full advantage and took over the whole Somali Arsenal. No wonder The USC were formidable. They were armed to the teeth. Sad

I think one of the reasons USC were armed to the teeth is that much of the Somali government arms depot was abandoned, hence the USC took advantage of that and were able to advance to the Capital.

Yes, that as well (MJ-PRIDE)

From the evidence I gathered of Siad Barre, he wasn't a coldhearted calculation dictator as many want to believe. He lacked strategy, he blatantly showed his enemies that he disapproved of them rather than doing it anonymously. He should have kept his friends close, but his enemies closer.

How did he think that he was able to put Aidid (a well known maniac) to jail and believe that Aidid wouldn't retaliate?

Emotional rants are for children, plus I am way too relaxed to have an argument with someone of your caliber.
