Cartan Boss if we are gonna remember old wars, and battles. How about this in 1868 between the Warsengeli + Dhulbahante against Cismaan Maxamoud. This is an excerpt from Wayne K Durill: Atrocious Misery: The african origin of famine in Norther eastern Somalia.

"The Majerteen sultan raised and army of seven thousand men, nearly every able-bodied adult male in a population of perhaps twenty-five thousand.
