Both Puntland and Somaliland are states within a federal Somalia, why only the two join and not the rest of Somalia. Without the south even with all it's troubles, there is no Somalia and puntland or somaliland can't sustain themselves (unless there is oil found) without the south.

South Somalia

Kismaayo

Mogadisho

I have no hate ort love for puntland but uf the two unite under a fedral system then progress could move towrds south somalia.I only wish somalia could go back to its greatness without the current nightmare.
Walahi you guys think am crazy for not supporting somaliland and instead supporting somalia.By supporting somalia i am trying to be above qabildoms somaliland puntland thsi land that land, its all a waste of time and energy.Somalia is the past somalia is the future it might take another generation for that to sink in but inshallah.

The south is full of savage people who don't know negotiations and democracy, but we must not break Somalia apart because of a few uncivilized groups. It's the duty of those from puntland and somaliland to share to guide the people of the south they are after all our fellow somali's.

If the benefits outweigh costs of joining PL and if that is what the people of SL want---why not!

A positive thread about somali progress and you bring your negative and unsubstantiated BS in here, who are you talking about when you say puntland gaal raacs?

Beauty Babe

Qaldaans for all their wrongs are people who are civilized and know and respect rule of law. You can always negotiate with them and if treated fairly, have no problem with anyone.

If President shermarke(AUN) wasn't assassinated,he's government with prime minister cigal(AUN) was in the process of making great changes to Somalia and establishing democracy for all. Qabil favoritism was unheard of during the SYL days.

Unfortunately he was assassinated and instead of cigaal being the rightful president, the tyrant Barre took over the country.
