The 22 French crew members of the 30 people aboard the Le Ponant yacht are expected to be brought back to France soon, probably by Monday evening, Morin said. A special plane has already left for the French military base in Djibouti to collect them

President Nicolas Sarkozy had ordered that, if possible, the hostage-takers be captured alive to face justice.



"The president gave an instruction that - if it was possible without any collateral damage - we tried to apprehend the hostage-takers so they can be delivered to justice," Morin said.

This is a new France, I have never seen France doing attacks even inside a foriegn country and then exterdited them back to their country to put them on trail. since this man have become president --France is becoming like Israel.

this is not how things like this are supposed to play out. i have a feeling this incident took place inside Somali waters and not international waters which gives Somalia jurisdiction...aah fock, something just hit me, i forgot about the fact that we don't have a government.

How do u try people who committed a crime in their own country. If a French guy kills a Somali guy inside France should he be handed over to Somalia to face trial.

Somalia has no Goverment so there is no one to prosecute them and also somalia has not signed to the world court. But the Bastard Sarkozy is trying to show his daddy bush he is tough.
