I would like people to give a chance to any means to establish peaceful governance, and if taht means it comes with Ethiopian help, I am all for it. Let's make one thing clear, Somali problem existed before Ethiopians came.

Hezbollah: The Hezbollah movement has been reported to provide military training to ICU and has made arrangements with other states on behalf of ICU for the latter to receive arms. In mid-July 2006, ICU apparently sent about 720 men to Lebanon to fight alongside Hezbollah against the Israeli military. The Somali force was personally selected by ICU's Hizbul Shabaab (youth movement) leader Aden Hashi Farah "Eyrow." One of the selection criteria was an individual's combat experience, which might include experience in Afghanistan. In exchange for the contribution of the Somali military force, Hezbollah arranged for additional support to be given to ICU by the governments of Iran and Syria.
this one is my favorite. an army of 700 ICU fighters magically landed in Lebanon in 2006, during an air, sea & land blockade by the Israeli military and the U.S. government? did they use teleportation devices to transport those men from Somalia to Lebanon or did they call to the Martians to send them one of their invisible space ships? you just killed yourself with this one, mate.
As relations deteriorated between Eritrea and Ethiopia, Eritrea saw the opportunity to destabilise southern Ethiopia.
Eritrea sought to distract attention from the disputed border areas, and as a long-standing ally of the OLF, encouraged links with Hussein Aideed, a Mogadishu warlord and major critic of the Sodere agreement.
Eritrea backed his recruitment of Oromo fighters, and the OLF held a congress in Mogadishu in April 1998, electing a more militant leadership.
In August 1998, Hussein Aideed made a visit to Ethiopia, but failed to extract the concessions he wanted, or expected.
By contrast, in February this year he returned from a visit to Asmara with three planeloads of weapons.
Three shiploads of arms, and some 1,500 Oromo fighters subsequently arrived from Eritrea to join hundreds of other Oromos trained earlier at Qorioli in southern Somalia.
Some Eritrean advisers, reportedly including engineers and mine-laying experts also arrived, though Eritrea, like Ethiopia, has continued to deny providing assistance or support to any Somali faction.

By the way, planes/ships from many of the listed countries, especially eritrea, was flying and moving back and forth to transport weapons as well as people to/from previously ICU controlled areas.

if I remember correctly the Israeli government when asked about Somali fighters in Lebanon said according to their own intelligence agencies, they had no evidence of such a thing, so where is your proof? do you have photos of ICU fighters fighting in Lebanon? has the U.N. ever presented a shred of evidence to support their outlandish claims? No. because there was none, they were clearing the path of the invasion of Somalia and drumming up the war. once again, you have embarrassed yourself.

It's up to Al-Shabaab to advocate for continued war. My duty is to support Al-Shabaab. It isn't calculus to determine which group to support. One group, Al-Shabaab, is Muslim and Somali. The other group, Ethiopian occupiers, is foreign and Christian.

on the contrary I know more about them than your little lies attempt to prove. i busted you on your lies, answer my question; where is your supporting evidence that there were ever any Somali figthers in Lebanon in 2006? don't post hogwash if you can't back it up with evidence.

the president of the United States with the backing of the CIA, the Pentagon and his cabinet stood in front of his country and his fellow law makers and declared that Iraq had purchased uranium from Chad and made weapons of mass destruction with that uranium. 5 years in to the occupation of Iraq and there has never been a single recovered piece of weapons of mass destruction. if the world's "super power" can lie & get away with it, why not an insignificant organization like the U.N.? anyone can write on paper, but proving such writings is an entirely different thing. has the U.N. ever provided a single shred of evidence to prove that there were Somali fighters in Lebanon in 2006?
