Eritrea army 'entered Djibouti'

Postby surria » Tue May 06, 2008 11:56 am

Djibouti has accused Eritrea of violating its border by sending troops into its territory.

"The two armies are facing each other. The situation is explosive," said Djibouti President Ismail Omar Guelleh.

all this time, I was under the impression that eritrea as a new nation would know better, but I guess they are as barbaric as the rest of it's neighbors.

No it wont.

From what i've been able to gather, Eritrea is sending a message to djibouti that it will kick their a'ss if they keep appeasing to Ethiopia and United states. djibouti is not a capable threat to the Eritreans, so them creating trenches and sending soldiers towards their common border is a sign that if djibouti keeps s'ucking Ethiopian and American asses; they will choke on Eritrean shiit

I think it goes against their interest if they do fight djibouti, unless djibouti decides to swing first and strike really hard which wont happen. They are just sending messages.

I think you guys have to be in Eritrea's shoes to understand the politics that's going down underneath this. IF someone bigger and supported by huge friends swore to kill you and your small next door neighbor was helping him out, how would u feel about ur smaller neighbor?

Ethiopia has the United States hand holding.

djibouti has the French breast feeding it

Eritrea has no one but themselves, so Eritrea feels like it's them against the World.

no.

I live by a large Eritrean community and happen to love politics. I also served for the united states marines for a while, so military stuff gets me interested.
