Berbera port revenues dissapointed me greatly with just merely 2.8 mill USD in collected.
Thats a very small amount... the private sector is booming with bringing in totally over 93.5 % of our final result. 2008 result breakes the old record from 2006/2007 with 77 billion 850 million 223 thousand and 221 Shilling.An improve of 25 % .

its a shame..

berbera is idle due to criminal negligance and extortionate fees by the government
pushing somalilanders to use Djibouti and bossaso, or small fishing ports.

reduce the rates to the same as bossaso and you will see revenue picking up again.
