I met four djiboutian chicks and one guy and three of the girls were named Rhoda. I remember thinking to myself this name must be very common in Djibouti. They were very cool and they were always careful about what to say when they were around the somalis.

A close friend of mine is Djibouti - she's so lovely & bubbly. I love how she talks - always makes me laugh. :D

I have been to djbouti a couple times, and I stay with VIP's in Djbouti ..but politically I am 100% Somaliland. They are a bit ahead of us in somaliland because they had a headstart on the independence they had supermarkets where you could actually touch the merchandise (before us  ) in hargeisa before everything was behind the counter...

the suuq dhuksi  and the area with all the foreign embassies is beautiful
the area with my VIP relatives 8)

I know a few, and they're exactly as described above. Bright, bubbly and VERY fashionable. The language is hella funny, though. "Bonjour! Iskaa waraan "?

I have cousins that are Djiboutian Somalis. Generally, they are very classy. I find that they're more prepared for the Western world as opposed to other Somalis who are very stuck in their ways when they first arrive here. I haven't met a lot but the few that I met I really like.

Hate is a strong world but I truly dislike Somali refugees who refuse to make an effort in integrating. Why travel all these miles for a better life and be stubborn? You destroyed your country so be grateful for Western countries in accepting you.
