Al-Shabab just shelled the airport, noone was even killed though 6 soldiers were wounded. This is probably a prelude to an attack though.
The big violence was when the TFG police opened fire on a busload full of innocent people in Baidoa and killed several people.

Well, al-Shabab have been infiltrating Baidoa for months, it was only a matter of time.
The question I have is what are they going to do with all the lawmakers they take hostage? They can't run anywhere if the Airport is cut off and every highway route is controlled by al-Shabab.

These so called " Jihadi groups" will never be victorious. Why?

1. They minhaj (methodology) is corrupt, specially when it comes to Jihad.

2. They have divided themselves into groups and factions, and as we all know Allah says in the Quran that if we are divided we will never be victorious.

3. All these groups whether it be Al-Shabaab or Al-Qa'edia, don't have the means to defend against the Kuffar. Allah tells us in the Quran to obtain "the means" meaning the power whether it be airplanes, tanks, and other military instruments. Fighting ak-47's against tanks and Jet planes is not obtaining "the Means".

4. Finally, what brings all these problems is the lack of Knowledge of the religion. they read a verse in the quran talking about the vitures of Jihad and instead of taking the issue to the Ulama, they suddenly turn into "ulama" themselves, calling out for Jihad and making takfir. Subhanallah.

so u say if the enemy is more powerful than u surrender dammmn man how many were the muslims in the battle of badar(300 plus) how many were the kuffar qureish (1000 plus) muslims only had two knights some of them dint have a proper weapon sxb and yet they dint surrender ....sxb if kafer invade urmuslimland is fardul-ain to fight whether they outnumber in terms of quality or quantity we muslims gota fight and trust up on ALLAH dat he will give us the victory ....they fight for the word of Allah (to implement sharia in somalia)and datz enough

This is what I am talking about. I didn't say if your outnumbered that you shouldn't fight, No. I stated a verse in the quran where Allah commands the believers to obtain the necessary means to defend against the kuffar. Why wasn't the prophet commanded for Jihad in early days of Islam. The muslims were weak in numbers, military items, and also there weren't rooted in Tawheed. So that was the reason for the delay in Jihad. So akhi i advise that you first root youself in knowledge of the religion and not just follow your opinions and desires.
