The Islamic Courts were formed to settle minor disputes between Somalis in a agreed upon fashion when there was no law other than the rule of the Warlords. How one can call such a thing a Islamic Sharia I don't know, theirs was not Islam, it is Aways and Indha-Adde view of Islam.
Islam teaches that every Muslim stands before God and is responsible for making his own moral choices in observing sharia. The Koran does not prescribe a form of government, but speaks only of the community of Muslims.
But hey, if you bunch feel like following the Col. turned Sheikh Aways in his struggle against President Yusuf just because he so happen to put on a fake "cimaamad" then by all means go ahead. You bunch may not have the confidence to say to fake Islamists like Aways and Co. this is not Islam when they say "theirs is the will of God," but million of others like myself do who don't share their view of Islam. Islam is more then a tool you can throw at your opponents when you feel like it and I pray Aways and Co. get that.
