My Response To "Where is Al-shabaab?"

Postby Kolombo » Thu Jan 15, 2009 9:53 am

The whole purpose of Somaliweyn's thread was to proclaim a Hawiye victory after the retreat of the Ethiopians in a suddle manner, let's not kid ourselves here. Only a year ago, many forumers were claiming Al-shabaab was a Hawiye movement and were the only legitimate resistance group. As soon as Al-shabaab spreads across Hawiye regions, they are dubbed as an "expansionist" non-hawiye movement. I even caught glimpses of some individuals who pride themselves as being hardcore anti-Ethiopians supporting Abdi Waal's militia that has always been on Ethiopian payroll, claiming these militia were the true natives of these regions & it was nothing more than the local population rejecting the "occupation" of Al-shabaab. My question is, how can you claim to be anti-Ethiopian and at the same time support Ethiopian funded mooryaan? How can you claim to be a nationalist and on the other hand try to take apart the resistance movement according to qabyaalad?

Who fought at Guriceel? 90% of the Al-shabaab who went to Guriceel were Hawiye. Who is Timajilic? He is a native of Ceel Buur and was the first man to stand up against Qanyare when the "Anti-terror" organization was made in 2006. Timajilic (aun) stood up & fought for his values, he died fighting a heathen group of mercerenies and died as a martyr, let's get that straight. How come no one talks about the fact that he was the leading commander in this attack? And that his men were mostly Hawiye? You would rather support Abdi Waal the lackey warlord and his militia because they represent the type of Hawiye you want?

No one can claim that Al-shabaab is perfect, we all see their faults, but to paint them as a band of nimwits out to get Hawiye is paranoia at its best. The events leading up to the ousting of the Ethiopians was a collective effort & was determined by many factors, just because you don't see senior Al-shabaab members posing for the camera does not mean they were asleep the past 2 years. When you try to turn this in to a Hawiye victory, you destroy the credibility of the ICU & having former TFG & warlord supporters in your midst celebrating with slogans like "Guul to Hawiye" is disrespectful to the many men who died fighting so that Xamar can be free again. Men like Abu Cuteyba, Abu Zeynab, Ceyrow, Asbaro; who never made qabiil an issue in this struggle.

WTF

Why the heck do you guys open a new thread everytime you are cornered? f.uck, there are three running threads on the very same topic, go back there and defend yourself. No need to create a new thread everytime you are cornered.

Acuudi Billaah!

These guys are very strange.

Kolombo, before I present my counter-arguments so we can have healty debate.

Answer me 1 question:

Why not continue the discussion in the topic it was ment for?

I pointed out some inconsistenties in your replies, and expected that you would clarify them if I saw it incorrectly, but suddenly you open a whole new topic with alot of assumptions/prejudices and misinformation about me.

TW,

I don't remember you cornering anything, refresh my memory bal. All I remember is reading some chicken doodle from a flip-flopping Gedi supporter, when did you become a nationalist? I'm here to expose your kind's hypocrisy & remind everyone that it wasn't too long ago that you defended the atrocities commited in Xamar by the Tigrays under the watch of Geddi Fanax. And today you want to tell us it was Hawiye who did all the heavy lifting? Don't tempt me to blast you in to smithers & bring out all the skeletons in the closet, you have been warned.

Somaliweyn,

What inaccuracies? Wasn't the whole purpose of your thread to hand the torch over to Hawiye as if they were the only ones who ever fought the Ethiopians? It was a poor choice on your part to take away the focus from the real issue i.e. the retreat of the Ethiopians; which should have been a great occassion to celebrate together as a people, instead you took a divisive approach & brought back age old bitterness.

Chicken doodle is what you call when you are reduced to opening multiple threads just to continue one that already has 3 running threads. If you have iota of credibility come back to those threads that are already open.

Your entire "argument" consists of combing up with a new thread every-time you are cornered just to further vent your delusions. It is hard to see you getting something from my "closet" and putting some-one in their place.

Either come back to those threads or F.uck off. I dont have the time to chase you around these forums.

It is just a lame diversionary tactic. Out of arguments? Just open a new thread and we will start all over again. He thinks he is fooling some-one. Poor old man

TW,

Why so sensitive? Out of brewsky? I merely stated your conflicting position regarding this whole issue. I can respect a man who sticks to his position regardless of calamities & situations. However, an individual whom I remember strongly denying the Ethiopians & their mooryaan ever shelling Towfiiq & Suuq Bacaad in 2007 and today at the opposite pole cheering "Guul to Hawiye" how can such a person have any credibility? Do you remember our conversation?

I won't accuse you of being a murtad, eventhough you've made clear on the forum your disregard for the Shari'ah & were very much anti-ICU only a few years ago. Don't preach to us your new found admiration for the ICU whom you suddenly see as being in the best interest of your clan & how Hawiye have brought home victory, when the truth says otherwise.

Kolombo,

As I said if you have an iota of credibility you would come back to the previous threads instead of running around opening a new thread every-time you are cornered. I am not interested in chasing you around. As I said, either do that or F.off. Consider this my last reply in this thread

Hold on,

Kolombo, you still did not answer my question, instead you accused me again with no tangible sources to back up your accusations.

Again, go to the topic I opened titled ''Where is ALshabaab'' and quote one sentence which slightly supports your accusations and assumptions about me.

I never accused you out of the thin air, I accept the same attidute from your side.
