Eritrea Has Humilated The TPLF Regime in Somalia

Postby kenyan4life » Thu Jan 15, 2009 5:09 pm

Eritrea has humiliated TPLF regime in Somalia

The people of the horn of Africa should rejoice as the TPLF regime in Ethiopia is running away disgraced in Somalia. After its illegal invasion of a sovereign state and brutal 2 years occupation by TPLF troops, Somali freedom fighters have come out victorious with the moral assistance of their Eritrean brothers.

Since the beginning, Eritrea warned the Bush administration about the danger of invading Somalia but no one listened and the administration threatened to label Eritrea as “state sponsor of terrorism.” Once the US-backed TPLF entered Somalia, Eritrea again warned about the ensuing quagmire but TPLF’s Meles Zenawi did interviews after interviews trying to hide the truth about the quagmire. Now Eritrea has been vindicated in every way and TPLF and the Bush administration have run out of lies and propaganda to hide their failure.

We also remember the fabrication made up by the CIA-financed United Nations Security council that claimed 2,000 Eritrean troops are in Somalia. It has been two years now, so where are the 2,000 Eritreans in Somalia? The TPLF regime in Ethiopia had a whole 2 years reign in Somalia to show to the world 2,000 Eritreans but it can’t find even one Eritrean. And running out of money and scared of the new Obama administration, TPLF is running away after being humiliated by a small Somali militia of less than 2,000 fighters.

The current disgrace of the Ethiopian regime is a second example in less than 5 years to Western imperialists who think aggression and invasion is a solution. America’s embarrassment in Iraq and growing chaos in Afghanistan should bury this western ideology. But if what Obama said during his campaign is any indication, he might continue the aggression policy of Washington in Afghanistan. This means, there will not be real “change” as Obama claimed. Real change would be American troops leaving every country and exiting from every American military base set up in many corners of the globe. America should stop thinking it is the police of the world and it should stop supporting abusive and tyrannical regimes like the TPLF regime in Ethiopia.

neo-conservatives, will probably adopt a new strategy. they would never accept defeat. to them, the war on terror is as serious as the cold war. this antagony will go on for many years, Ethiopians won't leave, i am certain!
