Here is how the Somali MPs were distributed in the last democratically elected MPs:

As you can see the Absames have been losing territories to Ilka-Yars, and that means they now have similar number of MPs as Absame and even want more than that. 1960s both MPs from Baardheere were Absame.

We traded Dhuusa-mareeb for Baardheere. Nice :P

Teeda kale we have 14 seats in the TFG parliament, Ogaadeen and Majeerteen have 12 each other.

Not a bad idea to come from Dhuusa-Mareeb to Baar-Dheere....What a difference!!! But trust me, Cawylahan don't forget things that easily....
1960 Palimientry Election
Absame 8 Sade 3
----------------------------------------
Baarlamaankii 1964 parlimientary elections
Absame 8 Sade 5
-----------------------------------------------------

1969 Parliementary Election
Absame 8 Sade 5
--------------------------------

Carte 2000
Absame 11 Sade 11
------------------------------------------

Mbagathi 2004
Absame 12 Sade 14 :x :x :x :x just because Huuraale was occupying Kismaayo at the time.

The point that I am trying to prove is that the Absame people; even though they are more in numbers than Sade in Somalia, didn't say a thing about getting just one minister becasue the Somali unity is paramount to them. But the Ilka-Yars acted as they their world has been turned upside down.
And what is the birth rate of the Ilka-Yars? How come you get so many MPs in a matter of 30 years...
