Yusuf Garaad's Shameless Antic

Postby AbdiWahab252 » Thu Feb 26, 2009 1:17 pm

Yusuf Garaad has been added to the list of "Mislead Hutus" He joins this infamous group whose members include

What was he thinking when he aired a debate between two Iljeex brothers, AbdiNastex and Indocaade ? What was his aim ? Why is he trying to publicly air and stir up fitna ? During this time of intense pressures on Hutudom, it was unhelpful in the peacemaking

Ratings are low, which I understand but from now on I vow to never listen to BBC again

Let us not forget that Yusuf Garaad has effectively also condoned some antiHutuism in his media when he imposed a media blackout of news from Northern Hutudom, Galgaduud and Mudug when he dismissed the lone Hutuist journalist reporting from there

Yusuf Garaad = shameless

If even I don't listen to the BBC, what makes you think anyone else here does?

Wrong age group

Yusuf Garaad is the best. I like how he interrogates them....he reminds me of Jeremy Paxman and John Snow. He's very skilled, I don't understand why people get offended. So what if he asks tough questions to people you support...he's doing his job....besides if you can't stand the heat don't enter the kitchen in the first place and if you do don't start moaning when you get your words all in a twist. Only bitter unprofessional people who lose a debate resort to idiotic personal attacks on the interviewer.

  @ Eyes.

I just disliked the way he put the screws on Indocaade  And then he cut off AbdiNastex

But why did he cut coverage from the Galgaduud and Mudug ?

Cawar,

He is a major player

Cawar,

Most of the reporters were white Russians who spoke Somali fluently.

News in the early 1990s was hard to get & they had crappy newsletters that used to be distributed.

Then who could forget the UN propaganda station, RADIO RAAJO

 AW, I know what you mean...cutting people off is not always popular but you should listen to some of Paxman's interviews....you'll realise Garaad is a softy.

Eyes,

Still I miss listening to the only Hutu journalist we had in central Somalia. The Bugland reporters were very biased against us

Cawar,

It was the POST Utanga Radio station funded by the UNOSOM II. They would broadcast propaganda against the Mahdi
